Have you ever felt uneasy that you didn’t ‘fit’ in your organisation? Or maybe you’ve not felt comfortable to be yourself at work? Or have you left a role because of a poor or toxic work culture?
Workplace culture is important whether you are a team of three or three hundred. A positive and healthy culture leads to a happier, more engaged, motivated and productive workforce. Whereas toxic workplace cultures have been cited as one of the main reasons for people quitting their jobs. And then there’s somewhere in-between, that uncomfortable feeling of not fitting in but not being able to put your finger on it.
In the changing world of work, both leaders and employees must be intentional in their approach to creating a brilliant culture. A culture where you attract the right people, where employees can be themselves and enjoy doing their best work. It's important to define and co-create your culture with your employees so you can ensure the interactions, working practices and behaviours are those you want as an individual, as a team and as a business.
Join us on Thursday 1st December for our final event of the year, where we will explore how to create a brilliant workplace culture and understand why it matters with our guest speaker Ben Twyman, chief commercial officer at Donorfy.
